WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG

A fair evidence-first process.

01

Pause release

A reported dispute places the disputed amount on hold. A seller’s request alone does not release it.

02

Hear both sides

Collect the listing, agreed condition, messages, tracking, delivery and inspection evidence from buyer and seller.

03

Review independently

A reviewer checks the agreement and evidence, requests missing facts, and proposes delivery completion, a return, or a refund.

04

Record and appeal

Share the reasoned outcome with both parties. Any return requires tracked delivery; disputed outcomes can be escalated before release.

Recommended policy: agree an inspection period before funding. Do not auto-release during an open dispute. Set response deadlines, evidence standards, reviewer authority and appeal rights in the final escrow agreement. MAP Pay cannot guarantee the truth of social-media listings or replace court remedies.
