MAP PAY / CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement and service provider

These Terms govern your relationship with MAP Pat Pvt Ltd, trading as MAP Pay (“MAP Pay”, “we”, “us”) for the services made available to you through mappay.pk and the MAP Pay application. MAP Pay’s owner has confirmed that the operating company is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The supplied office address is Office 212, 4th Floor, Amber Medical Center, M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi, Pakistan. The company registration number and exact registered-office status must be confirmed before this agreement takes effect. A bank partnership has been reported; the bank name and contracted services remain to be supplied. Company incorporation alone is not a representation of authorization to provide regulated payment services. A brand name or domain is not evidence of regulatory authorization. You must read these Terms and any specific product conditions before accepting them. Mandatory legal protections prevail over inconsistent wording.

2. Eligibility and verification

Our proposed personal-account service is intended for individuals aged 18 or over who have legal capacity and satisfy the published residency, identification and onboarding requirements. Any account for a minor or business requires separate eligibility rules and terms. You must provide accurate information, use identification belonging to you, and keep contact details current. We may request additional information to verify identity, authority, source of funds or transaction purpose where necessary for lawful onboarding and ongoing compliance. An application does not guarantee approval.

3. What the service includes

Only features expressly activated for your account form part of the service. An advertised concept or dashboard illustration does not create a right to an account, credit facility, investment return, payment card or escrow arrangement. The service provider, permitted uses, balance and transaction limits, supported currencies and any geographic restrictions must be disclosed before activation. MAP Pay will not describe a wallet as a bank deposit, insured balance or interest-bearing account unless the relevant legal arrangement supports that statement.

4. Keeping your account secure

Keep passwords, PINs, one-time codes, devices and recovery methods private. Do not allow another person to operate a personal account on your behalf unless a supported authorization arrangement applies. Check account activity and notify us promptly through the verified security-reporting channel if you suspect compromise, lose a device or see an unfamiliar payment. We will not ask you to disclose a full password or one-time code in an unsolicited communication. Sharing credentials does not automatically remove rights that applicable law protects.

5. Funding, instructions and available balance

Use only supported funding methods and funds you are lawfully entitled to use. Before authorizing a payment, verify the recipient, reference, amount, currency and displayed charges. The available balance may differ from the displayed balance because of pending payments, holds or adjustments. An instruction may be declined or delayed for insufficient available funds, incomplete information, applicable limits, a lawful order or a proportionate security review. We will explain a restriction when legally permitted. Cancellation is available only while the relevant payment process allows it.

6. Charges, conversion and taxes

Applicable fees must be disclosed in a published Schedule of Charges and, where relevant, before payment confirmation. We will not treat these Terms as authority to impose an unspecified fee. Currency conversion must identify the applicable rate or calculation method, associated markup and any additional charge before authorization where this is available. External providers may apply separately disclosed charges. Taxes are applied where legally required. The final schedule must specify any card, withdrawal, replacement, transfer or inactivity charges; no amounts are established by this draft.

7. Payment errors, refunds and disputed transactions

Report suspected errors and unauthorized activity without unnecessary delay. We will provide a reference and explain the investigation process, information needed and applicable response periods. Statutory reporting and reimbursement rights are not replaced by merchant or card-network procedures. We may assist with recovery of a misdirected payment but cannot guarantee recovery after funds leave our control. Refund timing may depend on the original payment method and provider. Corrections and reversals will be supported by a reason and account record, subject to lawful disclosure restrictions.

8. Cards, USD services and internet bills

Any card service requires separate issuer and cardholder disclosures, including supported transactions, restrictions, authorization holds, lost-card reporting and disputes. A “USD Account” label alone does not promise a US bank account, foreign-currency custody or unrestricted international spending. Internet bill payments depend on supported providers and accurate customer references. Users should consider published processing times before a bill’s due date. Card and billing services are available only after the relevant operational and legal arrangements are confirmed.

9. Escrow and MAP Foundation

Escrow is included in the product scope confirmed by MAP Pay’s owner. Each escrow transaction requires a separate agreement identifying the provider holding funds, each party, release conditions, fees, cancellation rules and dispute process. MAP Pay will not accept escrow funds on the strength of a marketing description alone. Foundation donations are included in the product scope confirmed by MAP Pay’s owner. Each initiative must identify the responsible organization and the recipient of contributions. Donation conditions, refund rules and any claimed tax treatment must be disclosed separately. A contribution does not buy equity, generate a financial return or guarantee a tax benefit.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for fraud, impersonation, laundering proceeds of crime, prohibited financing, sanctions evasion, illegal trade, unauthorized account access or interference with system security. Do not attempt to bypass verification, transaction limits or legitimate security controls. Requests for information must be relevant and proportionate to lawful requirements. A restriction based on suspected misuse will be reviewed through the applicable complaint process, except where disclosure or review is limited by law.

11. Privacy and electronic communications

A separate Privacy Notice must explain the actual information collected, purposes, recipients, retention practices, international transfers and applicable rights before live onboarding. Acceptance of these Terms is not blanket permission for unrelated advertising, lending, investment profiling or unrestricted data sharing. Separate consent will be requested where required. We may provide essential account and service notices through verified in-app, email or other supported channels. You must maintain accurate contact details and be able to retain or access the documents supplied to you.

12. Service interruptions and responsibility

We will use reasonable care in operating the contracted service and communicating material interruptions. Availability may be affected by maintenance, external networks or circumstances beyond reasonable control. This does not exclude liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited. Losses attributable to our failure to meet a legal or contractual duty will be addressed under applicable law. Neither a general disclaimer nor use of a third-party provider automatically transfers every loss to the customer.

13. Restrictions, closure and remaining funds

You may request account closure through the published support process. Before closure, we will explain outstanding instructions, valid charges, verification needs and the method of returning eligible remaining funds. We may restrict or terminate a service for a material breach, security risk or legal obligation, with notice and reasons where permitted. Restrictions must not be used to confiscate a legitimate balance without lawful authority. Dormant accounts and unclaimed funds will be handled under the rules applicable to the actual provider, not an invented uniform deadline.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

For assistance, security concerns or a complaint, contact support@mappay.pk. Provide a description of the issue and any relevant transaction reference; never email your password, PIN or one-time code. The final customer disclosures will also identify the registered postal address, acknowledgment period, investigation timeline and applicable escalation route. We will record complaints, investigate the relevant facts and communicate an outcome with reasons where permitted. Escalation rights depend on the licensed provider and applicable jurisdiction. These Terms do not assume that a particular regulator or ombudsman has jurisdiction over MAP Pay, nor prevent a customer from using an available statutory remedy.

15. Changes, governing law and records

Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where notice is required. Customers will receive the revised wording, effective date and any available option to reject the change or close the service. Urgent legal or security changes will be communicated as permitted. The intended governing law is Pakistan, subject to confirmation of the contracting entity and preservation of mandatory protections in any applicable jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where legally possible. A versioned record of the Terms accepted for a live account must be retained and accessible.

16. Operator details and effective date

Publication status: customer-contract draft awaiting operator and legal approval. SECP registration, support@mappay.pk, and inclusion of escrow and Foundation donations have been confirmed by MAP Pay’s owner. The supplied operator name is MAP Pat Pvt Ltd and the supplied office address is Office 212, 4th Floor, Amber Medical Center, M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi. Company registration number, registered-office confirmation, partner bank identity and scope, fees, limits, Privacy Notice and remaining activated product scope still require confirmation. These must be completed and an effective date assigned before these Terms are used as the final live-service agreement. The current sample dashboard does not create or fund a financial account.
